📍 Manchester (Hybrid) | 💰 £55,000 + wider benefits | 🗓 Fixed-Term Contract (12 months)

 

I am partnered with an FMCG business that can only be described as a category disruptor that that are commercial, innovative and investing in their products and capabilities. With several brands and an extensive range of products, this is certainly an exciting company to be a part of.

 

They are on the hunt for a Shopper Marketing expert to come in and make an impact, challenge the norm and have high energy… sound like you?

 

Do you have a traditional shopper experience, experience working with the Top 4 grocers and are looking to make a real short-term impact?

 

This role will allow you to work in a new organisation, expand your professional network, introduce you to different ways of working, and increase your visibility in the industry, potentially opening doors to permanent roles.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Build engaging relationships with customers and continue challenging the norm.

  • Act as a brand champion, working with the UK Brand Team to develop and deploy annual brand plans.

  • Budget management - be a sharp operator with a founder's mentality to manage brand budgets efficiently, not accepting waste and unnecessary spending.

  • Create and execute exciting shopper marketing plans and deliver best-in-class shopper marketing.

  • Embrace the consumer, collaborating with internal insights and research teams to uncover and analyse consumer insights to drive brand growth.

  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to implement a cohesive approach for key marketing initiatives that will drive results in retail and ecommerce that ladder up to the brand’s overall strategy.

  • Work closely with the Commercial Sales team on account-specific strategies, presentations and the execution of display and distribution targets.

 

Required experience:

 

  • Traditional shopper marketing experience

  • Someone who can hit the ground running and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Entrepreneurial mindset

  • FMCG experience

  • Top 4 grocery exposure

  • Strong analytical skills

  • People-person

  • High energy
