An Overview of Our Terms
We appreciate that hiring through a recruitment consultancy is a big investment, but having vacancies unfilled, or even worse hiring the wrong person, can be even more costly.
Our business is set up to add value to your business by securing you the very best talent to join your team. This is why we maintain a very tight specialism and place a high emphasis on feedback. It clearly works because we have an independently verified NPS classified as 'world class'.
Our fees are set to reflect the quality of the service we provide and the subsequent value that we can add because we believe that investing in your talent attraction strategy can offer significant ROI. What we don't do is artificially inflate our fees to make you think you've got a great deal when we reduce them significantly as a 'special offer.' We felt it was important to clarify this, as it is a widespread sales tactic used in our industry.
As such, we like to be transparent and have published our fee schedule below.
Recruitment Fee: 20%
Does this include commission?
No, commission is not a guaranteed bonus. Neither are performance-related bonuses.
Why do you charge for car allowance/company car?
Car allowances or company cars are an integral aspect of remuneration, particularly in the commercial roles that we specialise in. When candidates are considering offers, they value the total package of salary + car when comparing opportunities. We value the provision of 'company cars' as the equivalent of a £5,000 car allowance for the purposes of invoicing.
Payment Terms: 14 days
What happens if the candidate doesn't start?
Our 'recruitment fee' becomes payable on a candidate's start date. If the candidate, for whatever reason, decides not to join, a fee is not payable. If a candidate starts but leaves before you pay the invoice (although this has never happened before), the invoice is still payable, however, you are covered by our 'free replacement guarantee', and we will find you another suitable candidate.
Free Replacement Guarantee: 8 weeks
Why don't you offer rebates?
The role we’re employed to do is to source great talent and work with you in interviewing candidates to ensure the fit, as well as skill set, is right. We take accountability for offer management for you, and then it’s over to you for onboarding and getting your new hire set up for a successful career in your company. At the post-offer management stage, we no longer have control of the process, and the baton is handed over.
Should your new hire not work in the first 8 weeks of joining, we will work with you to find a free replacement. The reason we don’t do rebates is that we aren’t accountable for the onboarding and integration of candidates into your company, which is a vital determinant of success.
Whilst we can’t be financially culpable for something we have little to no control over, we do appreciate the investment you’ve made, hence the free replacement guarantee we offer. This means that we will backfill a placement with another suitable candidate if someone we place leaves during the 'free replacement' period.
The reason we offer this is that we appreciate that recruitment is a big investment, and by revisiting our search work within a couple of months of the original placement, we can mitigate many of our costs and still save our clients a considerable amount of money. This enables us to invest a larger element of our fees into providing a quality service, rather than using it to mitigate the risk of providing rebates for things that are largely out of our control.
