After having a mega last few years, hitting double-digit Y.O.Y growth, they are now upscaling their marketing team and looking for a Category Manager to come in and manage key customers for their brands.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the consumer and category agenda

  • Build insight and knowledge from all data and insight sources.

  • Build the annual category strategy

  • Deliver the agenda to set the 1-3-5 year direction

  • Own and manage the strategic customer category relationship

  • Own and manage the data providers

  • Present to customers to drive growth within the category and brands.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in FMCG would be sought after, but is not essential by any means (If you work agency side, at a retailer, or even out of the industry in a buying or category role)

  • Have a story to tell – have you travelled the world perhaps? Involved in exciting hobbies or activities? What is it about you?

  • Passionate about marketing and interested in FMCG

  • Advocate for team collaboration

  • Ability to analyse data

  • Demonstrates ambition, drive and determination to succeed

  • Have strong presenting skills.

  • Able to get to their Manchester office 5 days a week 

  • Full, valid UK driver's license
