Job description

I’m partnering with a high-growth, founder-led UK challenger brand to recruit an E-Commerce Manager to take ownership of their global online business and accelerate the next phase of digital growth.

This is a rare opportunity to join a profitable SME on a sustained ~40% YoY growth trajectory, forecasting £10m turnover this year and already trading in 30+ countries worldwide. With strong UK retail partnerships secured and major US listings launching, the business is now looking to unlock the full potential of its online channels, particularly Amazon.

The brand operates within the household FMCG space, built around a genuinely unique product with a powerful category story and premium positioning. It’s a brand that blends science-led innovation with a fun, engaging consumer presence – and when buyers or consumers discover it, it sells.

The Opportunity

Amazon is already delivering ~£2m in revenue and growing at ~25% YoY, but much of the trading, marketing and optimisation has historically been outsourced.

The leadership team believes there is a significant untapped opportunity, and they are now looking for someone to take full ownership of the channel and build the strategy for global e-commerce growth.

This role offers a blank sheet of paper to shape how the business approaches Amazon, D2C and digital marketplaces going forward.

Your remit will include:

  • Owning the global Amazon strategy across the UK, EU and US
  • Driving growth, conversion and profitability across marketplaces
  • Evaluating and optimising Seller vs Vendor strategy
  • Managing agency partners currently supporting the channel
  • Identifying opportunities to scale internationally
  • Developing the D2C strategy and expanding beyond its current footprint
  • Improving digital content, listings, advertising and trading performance
  • Building a clear roadmap for the future of e-commerce within the business

Longer term, the ambition is to position online as a major revenue driver alongside retail, with this role playing a central part in that journey.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong Amazon/marketplace experience
  • Experience growing e-commerce revenue within a consumer brand
  • Understanding of Amazon trading, content optimisation and advertising
  • Exposure to D2C / Shopify environments is highly beneficial
  • Comfortable owning commercial performance and strategy
  • Data-led and commercially minded
  • Entrepreneurial and self-starting
  • Confident operating with autonomy in a small business
  • Strategic thinker who can also execute

This role would suit someone who enjoys building something rather than maintaining it, and who thrives in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments.
