Are you ready to take ownership of major grocery customers and play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of one of the most exciting brands in the plant-based category?

We’re looking for a National Account Manager; a commercially sharp relationship builder, strategic thinker and driver of sustainable growth, to join an ambitious and fast-scaling FMCG business.

This isn’t just another account management role. It’s an opportunity to step into a highly visible position where you will shape customer strategy, influence category growth and play a key role in the next stage of the brand’s UK expansion. You’ll be responsible for building meaningful partnerships with major retailers while ensuring commercial performance delivers against ambitious revenue and profit targets.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Take full ownership of a portfolio of key grocery customers including Sainsbury’s, Asda and Co-Op, delivering revenue, profit and distribution growth

  • Develop and execute Joint Business Plans that translate brand strategy and category insight into clear, commercially successful customer plans

  • Manage trade spend effectively, balancing investment with growth opportunities to deliver maximum commercial impact

  • Build and strengthen long-term customer partnerships, evolving relationships from tactical conversations to strategic growth plans

  • Work closely with marketing, finance and supply chain to ensure best-in-class execution of NPD launches and shopper activation plans

  • Use data, insights and category understanding to identify opportunities that drive ROS, distribution and shopper engagement

Who you are:

  • Proven experience managing UK grocery retail accounts, ideally including Sainsbury’s or other major multiples

  • Commercially astute with strong understanding of P&L management, trade investment and negotiation

  • A natural relationship builder who thrives on influencing both internally and externally

  • Analytical and insight-driven, comfortable turning data into actionable commercial plans

  • Proactive, adaptable and energised by working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Passionate about innovation, new product launches and building brands within high-growth categories
