Job description

Ready to kick-start your FMCG sales career? Want a role where you’ll be hands-on, visible, and genuinely making a difference from day one?

This opportunity is the perfect entry point into National Accounts – a chance to learn, grow, and develop within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial FMCG business that’s scaling fast and doing things differently. You won’t be lost in the crowd here. You’ll be right at the heart of things, learning from senior leaders, managing your own customer base, and building the commercial toolkit to become a fully-fledged NAM.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be watching from the sidelines – you’ll be in the thick of it. Trusted to manage real accounts, real numbers, and play a key role in shaping strategy for the smaller wholesale channel.

If you’ve got 1–2 years of FMCG experience and you're hungry to grow, this could perfect.

So what is the role?

  • P&L ownership and management of some of the smaller wholesalers and independents

  • Support the Head of Wholesale and two National Account Managers on key accounts and strategic projects

  • Get under the skin of the customer landscape – help decide who to back, where to drive efficiencies, and where to focus energy

  • Be part of commercial conversations from day one, with the opportunity to build real relationships and shape future plans

  • Learning the ins and outs of customer management  and commercial decision-making

And who are you?

  • You’ll ideally have 1-2 years FMCG experience with a passion to develop in Account Management

  • Clear ambition to grow into a National Account Manager role – and the drive to make it happen

  • Curious thinker, solutions-focused, and not afraid to ask the right questions

  • Strong relationship skills; someone who can build rapport, read the room, and bring people with them

  • Comfortable with numbers – you understand the basics of a P&L and want to deepen your commercial skillset

  • Organised, structured, analytical – but with a creative streak that helps you think differently

If this sounds like you – don’t hesitate to get in touch!
