Meet Our Newest Team Member - Daniela!
We're excited to welcome Daniela, who joined us last week as part of our growing recruitment team!
Although new to recruitment, Daniela is more than ready to dive in and take on the challenge. She describes herself as an "enabler", someone who finds real energy in helping others thrive. With that mindset, we're confident this is the perfect role and environment for her, and we will see her bring a genuine care and determination to delivering great outcomes for both candidates and clients alike.
Before joining us, Daniela balanced her studies with a part-time role in retail, where she honed her people skills and a passion for meaningful connection... both of which will serve her well in her new recruiter role.
Outside of work, you'll find Daniela practising Pilates or enjoying yoga. And when it's time to unwind, a good book is never too far away... anything from fiction to non-fiction, this bookworm loves to read a bit of everything!
Keep reading to find out what recently gave Daniela a mini heart-attack!
Tell us about a time you were star-struck?
Hmm, I'm not very familiar with this 'star', but as I was getting my lunch after uni with my friend, we casually walked through St Peter's Square, not being aware that we were now going to feature in Niko Omilana's latest Wagamama promotional video!
What's one thing you did recently that you're proud of?
I wouldn't classify myself as being a great adventurer, but I did recently tackle indoor skydiving. It doesn't matter whether you're scared or about to have a heart attack, just go for it! you will never know what you can achieve if you don't venture out from time to time.
What motivates you to come to work each day?
For me, I would say that I love building relationships with new people, and work definitely does that for me. But most of all, I would say that I like to make sure that my actions are impactful, and so work is a great place for me to also build and eventually leave behind a legacy.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
Outside of work, I love to wind down from busy days by taking the time to indulge in Pilates/yoga sessions, as well as getting stuck into a great book. If not, you will find me enjoying a coffee out with people I admire and cherish the most in my life.
What would your death row meal be?
Just give me a fork and a slice of my mum's tiramisu and I'm set.
Can you recommend a book/podcast/film?
I would recommend 'The Little Snake' by A.L.Kennedy. A short but rather meaningful tale about friendship, family and resilience, basically, it warms your heart up a bit!
What's your secret talent that not many people know about?
I'm pretty good at winning a game of Monopoly...how? Strategy unknown!
What was the first thing you bought with your own money?
If I can recall properly, nothing extraordinary really, just a warm cup of coffee during a weekend stroll to the coffee shop.
