Meet Libby Drabble, Our Brand New Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We are super excited to introduce Libby, who joined us in July 2025 as Trainee Recruitment Consultant!

Before jumping into recruitment, Libby worked as a hotel receptionist at a 5-star spa hotel. The fast-paced environment became a comfort zone for Libby, and taught her the kind of skills that now come in handy every day ... especially in recruitment... such as multitasking, communication, and quick problem-solving.

Libby says; "Three weeks into my new role at Signature, I already feel right at home. What drew me to recruitment was the energy and constant variety, and that each day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn. No two days look the same, and that's exactly what keeps me motivated!"

Outside of work, Libby is a fan of long walks (especially if they end with a Sunday roast), going to the gym, and she's even just started running! She's also a self-confessed Trafford Centre day tripper... It's safe to say that with Libby's love for exercise, food, and shopping, she's definitely slotted perfectly into the Signature team... even though it is a little difficult having two Libby's now!!! #Libby2

What motivates you to come to work each day?

What would be your death row meal?

"Melted camembert with crusty bread, steak and stilton pie with triple-cooked chips, peas and gravy, followed by salted caramel cheesecake with ice cream."

Can you recommend a book/podcast/film?

"Normal People - a book and TV series I keep coming back to. It's a subtle, moving look at how relationships shape us while we're still figuring ourselves out. It captures the ups and downs of growing up in a way that feels real, not forced".

What's your secret talent that not many people know about?

"It might not be juggling flaming batons... but I make a really good spaghetti bolognese!"
