Meet Libby, HR Manager!
Hi, I’m Libby, the new HR Manager at Signature.
After joining a solicitor's firm, I very quickly got the opportunity to move into business operations. This is where my passion for the ‘people’ side of the job developed and whilst getting to work on the implementation of their HR system, I side stepped into HR. For the last five years I worked as HR/Operations, HR Project Manager then on to Head of HR. I was also studying for my CIPD qualification at the same time.
While not directly working for Signature until recently, I’ve always been close to the business because the Founder, Emilie, is my sister!
I’m not just saying this for sibling brownie points, but I’ve consistently been impressed by the company and the amazing work it carries out within the FMCG industry and I’m over the moon to officially be a part of it. I now look forward to helping Signature find suitable roles for professionals, while having a significant focus on DE&I (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) and providing the business with a professional core HR service to support the growth of the business
Find out more about me below!

Completely start again in every aspect of my life! 2022 threw a lot of challenges my way and was, in the main part, a very uncomfortable year. Change is scary, especially when it is so many things in such a short space of time. But my advice is … go for it!

Dog walking, hiking, journaling and reading. I have been brought up walking and hiking since I was little. I love being in nature and walking my dog, Kevin. Journaling has become part of my life in the last two years, it is part of my mindfulness journey, and I love getting lost is a book. It’s a form of escapism for me.

What was the first thing you bought with your own money?
A box of cream cakes. And yes, I ate them all in one go.
If you could get a new skill in 10 minutes, what would it be?
To be a dog trainer/behaviourist. I love spending time with my dog, and I really enjoy training him and seeing the results. There are some challenging behaviours which I would love to have the time and knowledge to nail down so to be able to become accomplished in this skill would be great. Maybe I could ask Signature’s charity partner, Dogs 4 Rescue for few tips…
