The Tesco account represents 30% of the total UK retail business, and as their most senior SNAM opportunity, this role is critical to the brand’s growth strategy.
With strong relationships already in place, this is a high-impact role that’s about more than just maintenance, it’s about partnership, thought leadership, and driving forward a new commercial strategy to elevate the account to the next level.
You’ll step into a pivotal role, leading the most high-profile UK grocery, with full P&L responsibility for a £100m+ account. You’ll work cross-functionally with Strategy, Category, Demand, and Marketing to lead and embed a bold new direction, identifying opportunities, optimising growth levers, and securing internal and external alignment across all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive strategic alignment internally and externally, preparing for and leading into cross-functional joint business planning
Build resilient, collaborative relationships with a complex customer landscape
Act as the voice of the business, ensuring alignment of ambition and execution
Identify and execute against new growth opportunities, supported by a lean but highly engaged team
Coach and influence across internal functions, with dotted-line leadership to support team capability
About You:
Tesco experience is highly desirable, or experience with another Top 4 UK grocer
Proven success in a branded FMCG environment, ideally from a large, structured organisation
Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with the ability to see and sell a long-term vision (3-year+ roadmap thinking)
High energy, positive, and authentic in your approach
A resilient leader who thrives in a challenging and fast-moving customer environment
A proactive mindset - you identify opportunities before they become issues
Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing at all levels
